DL E&C succeeded in winning the order for the new year's urban maintenance business in 2023. DL E&C  revealed on the 9th that he had secured the construction rights of the 'Gangbuk District 5 Public Redevelopment Project'. The construction cost is about 3,151 billion won, and DL E&C is exclusively built.
 
The Gangbuk 5 District Residents' Representative Meeting was selected as the final construction company at the construction company selection general meeting held on the 7th. Gangbuk District 5 is expected to be transformed into apartments and complexes with a total of 688 households in 3 buildings with 6 floors below the ground and 48 floors above the ground through redevelopment. The goal is to start construction in the first half of 2026.
 
Gangbuk District 5 is the area around 61-79 Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu, and is adjacent to Mia Intersection Station on Subway Line 4. It has excellent school districts such as Yeonghoon School, and living infrastructure such as department stores and large marts. It was selected as a public redevelopment pilot project area in January 2021, and the project is speeding up with deregulation such as an increase in the floor area ratio.
 
DL E&C achieved a total of 4 trillion won in urban maintenance last year, and achieved the highest order performance ever in the annual standard. This year, it succeeded in winning orders from the first weekend, predicting smooth sailing in the urban renewal project. In particular, the company plans to actively engage in order-winning activities based on its industry-leading brand power and financial stability.
