Daelim Petrochemical Business Division Conducts Social Contribution Activities for Daelim’s 80th Anniversary

Daelim’s Petrochemical Business Division conducted various social contribution activities in each workplace nationwide on the occasion of Daelim’s 80th anniversary. The Daejeon Research Center employees carried out a social contribution activity on Oct. 10 by delivering necessities to 50 low-income and single-parent homes. Yeosu Plant donated goods to five organizations including Yeosu Jindale Village and Ssangbong Social Welfare Center on Oct. 11. Jeonju Plant also delivered support articles to the Green Umbrella Child Fund, Jeonju City Chapter of the Jeonbuk Disabled Children’s Parents Association on Oct. 14.

On Oct. 14, Daelim presented prizes to employees who rendered distinguished service and those who have been working for Daelim for 10 years now as anniversary commemorative reward in the main conference hall of the head office. In addition to the head office, the Yeosu, Jeonju, and Daejeon plants also attended the ceremony through a video system. CEO Kim Sang-woo encouraged and praised all employees’ efforts and achievements. “Although each employee’s capability is important, there is nothing more important than all employees’ harmony and cooperation for Daelim’s development,” he added.
