The Singapore TTP1 site held on April 23 a ceremony to celebrate the installation of caisson No. 221 as a key process of the site. Daelim Executive Kim Min-soo, Singapore’s Transportation Minister, CEO of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (client), Korean ambassador to Singapore, and Belgium’s ambassador attended the ceremony. The site shortened the construction period by 7 months compared to the contracted construction period since it commenced caisson(Box-shaped concrete structure used as foundation for quay wall, breakwater, and bridge) manufacturing in April 2016. Daelim manufactured the 221st caisson in April 2018 and completed the offshore installation of all caissons on March 23, 2019.
