“I have heard that the construction period was shortened, and that cost was reduced with a new construction method using a special crane, ‘Launching Gantry,’ in this Temburong Bridge construction site. I am very proud that our construction technology is top-tier in the world,” President Moon said during his congratulatory speech. Addressing site employees, he noted that the bridge is one connecting the eastern and western parts of Brunei and one connecting Korea and Brunei. “You are technicians and engineers as well as citizen diplomats realizing infrastructure diplomacy,” he added.

Temburong Bridge connects Muara District and Temburong District,
which are on opposite sides of Brunei Bay, and its total length is 30km.

Daelim won the Temburong Bridge Construction Project in 2015. This project is the biggest bridge construction project in Brunei, and the project cost is KRW 2 trillion. Its total length is 30km, and it was ordered by dividing the bridge into 4 sections. Daelim is currently building the sea bridge and cable stayed bridge as the project’s core parts. The total contract amount is KRW 750 billion, and the project is slated to be completed in the second half of this year.
