Lotte H-NC3 Revamping (PKG1) Site Achieves Mechanical Completion
Plant where the Lotte H-NC3 Revamping project has been completed
The Lotte H-NC3 Revamping (PKG1) site achieved mechanical completion on October 22, 17 months after construction started on June 1, 2017. This project sought to expand the annual ethylene output of Yeosu 1 plant’s naphtha cracking facility from 1.03 million tons to 1.23 million tons.
There were many risk factors because the project was carried out within the district of the operated plant, and the environment including noise was inferior. Thanks to the efforts of the site employees and relevant departments, however, the project was completed ahead of the October 25 contracted deadline.
