Foundation Day Celebration with Neighbors

Daelim held a social contribution activity on October 10 on the occasion of its 79th foundation day. Instead of the usual commemorative ceremony, Daelim celebrated its anniversary through a sharing activity for the underprivileged. Some 100 Daelim employees including CEO Park conducted volunteer work around Jongro-gu for the underprivileged and children from the third world.
Daelim employees visited beneficiaries of national basic livelihood allowances and rented housing in Muak-dong and delivered 140 bags of rice and toilet rolls. Daelim forged sisterhood relations with Muak-dong in 2011, and it has been performing support activities. They also visited the Seoul Senior Citizens’ Welfare Center in Gyeongwoon-dong, Jongno-gu, delivered 100 bags of rice, and conducted lunch distribution service as volunteer work.
Daelim employees are decorating eco-bags to be presented as a gift to third world children in its head office.
In the Daelim head office, a T-shirt and eco-bag painting activity was carried out for children of third world countries (Asia and Africa). The T-shirts and eco-bags decorated by the employees are slated to be delivered to Nepal, East Timor, Myanmar, and Malawi.
“It is meaningful that we can contribute to the community on Daelim’s anniversary. We will make every endeavor for win-win growth with communities and fulfill our corporate social responsibilities,” said CEO Park who participated in the volunteer work.
