 The Suwon Venture Valley 2 site obtained approval to use from Suwon City on June 8. Valley 2 is the knowledge industry center to be built in the 32BL zone of Gosaek-dong, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon City, and manufacturing and knowledge industries and R&D companies will be located there.

In June 2017, construction was completed with zero accidents within 20 months of commencement in October 2015.
