Daelim Holds Completion Ceremony for Uiseong Dain-Bian National Highway Section 2
Ribbon cutting ceremony to publicize road opening
The Uiseong Dain-Bian 2 National Highway constructed by Daelim was opened on December 21. The President of the Busan Regional Construction Management Administration (client), Kim Won-geun, senior executive of Daelim’s Civil Engineering Business Division, and construction site employees attended the ceremony. The Uiseong Dain-Bian 2 National Highway connecting Yeonje-ri, Danbuk-myeon, Uiseong-gun and Idur-ri, Bian-myeon is part of National Highway 28.

Daelim’s Civil Engineering Business Division commenced the project in September 2009 and completed the section in about 7 years. It had length of 11.3km, width of 20m (4 lanes), 18 bridges, and 5 grade junctions. With the opening of the section, driving time in the section is reduced, and KRW 6.1 billion in logistics cost is expected to be saved.
