Daelim held the opening ceremony of workplace daycare center Hansoop at the head office in Jongro-gu, Seoul, on September 1. Some 30 people including parents, children, Daelim Management Support Director Oh Gyu-seok, and Daycare Center Director Shim My-gyung attended the ceremony. 


The Hansoop Daycare Center was built in the Daelim head office to foster an environment wherein employees including working moms can take care of work and family simultaneously. The daycare center is operated for executives’ and employees’ children aged 1 to 4. The prescribed number is 39 children, and classes are operated by organizing 4 classrooms by age.

It is operated by the Hansol Hope Childcare Foundation. A total of 10 faculty members including 1 director, 7 teachers, and 1 cook and 1 assistant cook take care of the children. The daycare center measures 344㎡ and houses 5 childcare rooms, 1 play room, 1 teachers’ room, and 1 kitchen. 


Daelim endeavors to make the workplace ideal for fostering children by supporting the tuition fees of employees’ children and paying congratulatory bonuses to employees giving birth to multiple children. 
 “The company will develop when the employees are happy. We will spare no effort in helping raise our employees’ children in a pleasant, safe space,” Daelim Management Support Director Oh Gyu-seok vowed.
