Saudi’s Ma'aden Ammonia Project by Daelim Reaches Mechanical Completion

Saudi’s Ma’aden Ammonia site reached mechanical completion on May 31 and received the relevant certificate from the client. The project was completed without any accident within two years of commencement of its construction in March 2014. Daelim’s project implementation competence was recognized by the client.

The Ma'aden Ammonia project seeks to build an ammonia plant producing daily output of 3,300t in the Ras Al Khair region 80km north of Saudi Arabia’s eastern part, Jubail. The client, Ma’aden, is Saudi Arabia’s largest mining company, with joint investment from Mosaic, the US’s largest fertilizer company, and Sabic, Saudi’s state petrochemical company. The construction duration is 39 months, and the project is slated to be completed in September 2016.
