Pakistan’s Gulpur Hydroelectric Power Project Receives Project of the Year Award
Pakistan’s Gulpur Hydroelectric Power project participated in by Daelim received the excellent project award in the hydroelectric power sector at the APEI Forum sponsored by global financial journal IJ Global.
IJ Global, a globally prestigious financial journal, awards prizes each year by selecting one excellent project each in 14 fields, including solar power, wind power, hydroelectric power, gas, & oil among the financing projects for the year.
The Gulpur project is a project through which Korean companies such as Daelim, Korea South-East Power, and Lotte E&C have entered Pakistan’s power market in collaboration. The project gained fame thanks to its success in procuring 75% of the total project cost with project financing under competitive financial conditions through IFC, ADB, and Export-Import Bank of Korea.
