Daelim Wins Pyeongchang Olympic Village Construction Project
Daelim signed a contract with Yongpyong Resort on July 24, 2015 to build Pyeongchang Olympic Village. The contract amount is KRW 66 billion (exclusive of VAT). Construction is slated to begin in August 2015 and will be completed in August 2018.
The project involves constructing 8 APT buildings with a total of 600 units at 142-19 Suha-ri, Daegwanryeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do. Each building will consist of 1 floor underground and 15 floors aboveground. After the general selling of the APTs, the complex is planned to be used as accommodations in Olympic Athletes Village during the Pyeongchang Olympic Games to be held in February 2018.
