Daelim Bags Contract to Build Hankook Tire US Factory
Daelim bagged the contract to build the 1st-phase main construction of Hankook Tire US’s Tennessee factory on June 5, 2015. The total contract amount is KRW 249.2 billion, and the project is expected to be commenced in July 2015 and completed in November 2016.
The project is a follow-up construction of the 1st-phase pile construction of Hankook Tire US’s Tennessee factory, which was completed on June 5, 2015 after Daelim won the project in November 2014. The project involves building one factory building with total floor area of 125,512㎡. Daelim’s Building Business Division is employing a strategy of establishing a bridgehead to enter the US market through the project.
