Daelim won on October 22, 2014 the Flood Control Capability Enhancement Project of Chungju Dam, the largest among the public works ordered this year. The client is Korea Water Resources Corporation, and the project amount is KRW 195.1 billion. Daelim’s stake is 45% or KRW 87.8 billion.
The project involves newly constructing three waterway channels and six sluices on the left side of Chungju Dam. It is implemented as one of the remodeling projects of 23 major dams by the government to cope with super-sized typhoons and localized torrential rains. Construction is expected to take 48 months.
