Daelim Conducts “Home Repair and Renovation with Hope” Activity
Daelim employees implementing the “Home Repair and Renovation with Hope” activity
Some 50 employees of Daelim, Korea Development Corporation, and Samho carried out the “Home Repair and Renovation with Hope” activity by visiting houses in Samseon-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul on May 17. Daelim employees carried out residential improvement activities for 4 homes of the disabled who have difficulty in movement, elderly living alone, and low-income family by visiting them.

To cope with the rainy season characterized by high humidity and sultriness in summer, they carried out insulation work, wallpapering, and window, door, and linoleum replacement work. The employees of Daelim and 2 other companies also replaced inside lighting with LED lighting, which has good electricity efficiency, as well as worn-out sinks and storage furniture.

“I feel proud of our employees who are taking part in the home repair and renovation activity voluntarily each year. We will spearhead the activity to improve the residential environment of the alienated class in our society using the talent of construction industry workers,” said Daelim President Kim Han-gi, who participated in the volunteer work.
